It was 2004 when I saw the surge in young people flack to the Internet. Promises of new friendships, games, and a constant stream of information enticed even the most innocent of users, leaving the onus of teaching our children about online use to peers and unprepared parents. It wasn’t our fault! This bullet train ran over even those of us who consider ourselves to be tech-savvy. It’s so hard to parent in a world we ourselves weren’t parented… We don’t know what questions to ask or what dangers our children may be facing.
